My apologies for the long wait in between updates; I was busy writing my dissertation and didn't have a lot of free time these past 2 months.

Here I focused more on the subject/symbolism of unicorns in medieval art, using the subjects of the tapestries as a vehicle. Just like Shou said, The Lady and the Unicorn are a series of six tapestries. In real-life they’re displayed at the Musee national du Moyen Age in Paris. The interpretations of the tapestries vary, but the general consensus is that they depict the five senses and the six can be interpreted as love, desire, or the rejection of passion. The story about hunters trapping a unicorn using a maiden as bait is based on another medieval tapestry, The Hunt of the Unicorn, which is displayed at The Cloisters museum in New York.
