My headcanon is that it's widely known that Hotaru is Michiru's daughter, and that officially Michiru had retired from performing and thus the public eye when in reality she'd returned to her home planet along with Haruka, to guard the Outer Solar System. I'd imagine Hotaru herself is also a pretty good violinist, since she was taught and mentored by one of the best violinist ever. What most people don't know is that Hotaru's music has a tendency to stir up ghostly shades of past and future, but that's something I'll talk more about next time. wink grin
